Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited Dragon is currently progressing with its production work. The first glimpse of Dragon has already created considerable buzz among Jr NTR fans and movie lovers. Since then, every update surrounding the film has been closely followed on social media. Jr NTR is taking a break from shooting after suffering an injury to his shoulder, and the makers are now planning the next shooting schedule of the film without waiting for his return.
According to the latest information, director Prashanth Neel is planning to resume the next Dragon shooting schedule either in the first or second week of September. The team is expected to focus on sequences that do not require Jr NTR, while also shooting important portions involving the other members of the cast.
The director reportedly wants to complete as much of the talkie portion as possible during this schedule. Once Jr NTR has fully recovered and is ready to return to the sets, his portions will be taken up separately.
The film’s flashback episodes are also expected to be among its major highlights. The scale and treatment of these portions have reportedly generated significant interest among fans.
Dragon is said to be planned as a two-part film, with both parts being shot simultaneously. The makers are reportedly looking at a release strategy with a gap of around six months between the two parts in 2027.
With the next schedule expected to begin in September, the production team is now focused on completing the portions that can be shot without Jr NTR and keeping the project on track for its planned two-part release.
