Nani’s most awaited mass action film, The Paradise, which created a sensation with songs like “Aaya Sher,” is also showing aggression in overseas box office advance bookings. The film crossed the 100K mark within four hours of opening bookings, even though they started in limited locations later the overseas day 1 collection crossed $150K mark. With the recent XD bookings also starting the numbers are going to increase even more. It is estimated that collections may reach $2 million before the premiere. The film is set for a worldwide release on September 24th.
Regarding the reports, The Paradise film’s Day 1 advance booking presales crossed 5000 tickets at the box office. Despite the pressure from last-minute shooting, the team is working hard day and night, determined not to miss the release date. On one hand, the post-production work is going on at full speed. On the other hand, the work on Anirudh Ravichander’s background score may start this week.
The unit says that they have not yet planned where or when the promotional events will be held. Talk may not always involve aggressive promotions from Nani’s side for Paradise. Because even with the shows being held now and then, the hype is at a next level where record openings seem certain. Nani has a gut feeling that there is no need to increase it. That is also true. There is that level of craze among the audience. It is enough if the premiere receives good word-of-mouth from the audience.
The first show will be held on September 23 at 12 midnight according to Indian time. The producers are planning to release the shows in India at the same time. Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, stars Mohan Babu and Raghav Jewel as the villains and Kayadhu Lohar as the lead heroine. Srikanth has prepared this story based on some incidents that took place in the Paradise area of Secunderabad decades ago in a period setting. The trailer is likely to be released in the second week of September. The Paradise trailer launch date has not been finalized yet.
