Natural Star Nani and Srikanth Odela have teamed up for the film ‘The Paradise’. The film, which arrived in theatres today amid huge expectations, has finally hit the big screen. Let’s get into the review and see how the film turns out.

The Paradise Story:

Set against the backdrop of Paradise in the 1980s, the story revolves around Samakka (Sonali Kulkarni), who fights along with her community for their rights and identity. However, they are unable to stand up to Malik (Mohan Babu), who has been systematically destroying their community. In this backdrop, Samakka gives birth to a son, Jadal (Nani).

What did Jadal do for his community? Why did he develop hatred towards his mother? What mistake did Samakka make, and why did she do it? How does the relationship between the mother and son bring a major twist to the story? How does Jadal take on the entire system to fight for his community’s identity and rights? Technical Aspects:

Coming to the technical aspects, cinematographer GK Vishnu’s work is excellent. He captures the key scenes and action sequences beautifully, in line with the story and narrative.

The editing is also good. The songs composed by music director Anirudh Ravichander are good, and their picturization is impressive. The background score also works well.

Srikanth Odela does not impress much as a writer, but he does justice to the film as a director. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri has mounted the film without compromising on production quality. The production values are excellent.

Verdict:

‘The Paradise’ arrives as a high-voltage, intense action drama, with Nani’s performance, wild action sequences and heavy emotional moments working well. However, despite having a strong emotional core and conflict, they are not established strongly enough for the audience to become completely invested in them. The lack of engaging elements in the second half is another drawback. Overall, the film is likely to appeal mainly to action lovers and Nani fans.
